About Me

Hi, I’m Lola Mitchell.  I’m a fifty-something social media researcher, card-carrying anthropologist, widow, grandma and dog-mom.  I live on the East Coast. Blogging, cooking, and trying to calm people the hell down on Facebook are my primary hobbies.  I am the world’s oldest digital native, a Unix goddess in 1987, and generally speaking, a horrible warning to all millennials.  I am trying to cut down on swearing so damn much.  🙂  I’m having a hard time with that.

I started LCHF after reading Dr. Bill Davis’s book Wheat Belly when it first came out in 2012. I lurk on various groups on LCHF, keto and paleo.  I love yoga and tai chi, which I do really badly.  I also like aqua aerobics — which I am GREAT at because no one can see a damned thing under the water.

In my next life, I want to be a stand up comic or have my own funny food show all about LCHF eating.   A girl can dream!   Thanks for dropping by.
